Why 3 credit bureau scores different?


Question by clankindered: Why 3 credit bureau scores different?
I subscribed to 2 different imputing monitoring services by accident and I am glad I did that. I ordered my credit report from 3 credit bureau (experian, equifax, transunion) and surprisingly each ascribing monitoring serve give me different credit scores. Since they get that information from the same 3 credit bureau howcome I got different scores?

Because as you said, all three credit bureaus are different, thus they score differently. They have there having way of scoring.

Will the updates/changes be made across all 3 credit bureaus?

No, you will have to go through the whole process with each bureau.

There is a way around this, per the Fair Credit Reporting Act if you dispute the error with the original creditor and they can not verify it as correct they are required to notify all 3 bureaus.

most sit want to just charge you just your score and some with one credit bureau. I need all 3 with score.

You can get your free annual credit reports from each of the three credit bureaus online thru AnnualCreditReport.com. This is the site mandated by the FTC and is the only site that won’t require you to subscribing up for monitoring services. The reports are free; the scores are not.You can buy your FICO score with your Equifax report for $ 8. You can also get FICO scores for Equifax and TransUnion at MyFico.com. Consumers tin no longer get FICO scores for Experian. Creditors use FICO scores. Don’t waste money on non-FICO scores.The TransUnion and Experian sites give you Vantage scores (different measuring). Third party monitoring sites all use Fakko scores.
